AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM




The DAR Boys & Girls Club offers youth, ages 7-18, safe and affordable after school care that provides children supervision with fun and educational activities, homework help, art projects, organized indoor and outdoor games, and much more! We look forward to enrolling your child at The DAR Boys & Girls Club this school year!
The DAR is currently taking into consideration the district models, local, state, and national recommendations. We appreciate your trust and patience during this time.

What ages do you serve?
We serve ages 7-18.
When is the club open?
September 6, 2022-May 20, 2023
We are closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, and Good Friday.

What are your hours?
Monday-Thursday: 3pm-7pm Fridays: 3-6:30pm Watch for special teen night activities.
How much does it cost?
$20 per semester per child.
First semester is September-December. Second semester is January-May.
Where can I find club updates?
Registration forms can be picked up at the club or can be downloaded from quick links on our website. $20 registration fee is due before a member may attend.

Do you provide busing from local schools?
Currently we are busing from all Menominee and Marinette Schools. Transportation is free from all Menominee Schools and $1/day from Marinette Schools. Call the club for questions on your school, bus routes, and pricing.
Do you provide meals/snacks?
We provide a free daily meal and snack to all club members. Members are also allowed to bring their own snacks to be eaten. We do not currently have vending machines.
Can my child choose which rooms they participate in?
Yes. Members will get to choose their room
What does my child need to bring?
We ask your child be sent with tennis shoes (so that they may participate in the gym activities) and a water bottle labeled with their name.
Are toys/electronics allowed at the club?
Chrome books/laptops are allowed for virtual learning/homework purposes. We ask that all personal items are left at home. This includes iPads, trading cards, toys, etc. The club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Are you open on snow days?
The club will be CLOSED when Menominee Area Public Schools have a snow day or cancel school.
Do you require masks?
Currently masks are optional for all members and staff.
When is your Ham Radio room open?
Our Ham Radio room is run by volunteers and is on their schedule. Currently, it is closed. Members will be on a rotation schedule to use this room.
